They are a part of a big symbiotic living system that contains plants and animals which are all connected by a biological interaction network. The Corporation wants to mine the moon and the Na'vi fight for their motherland. The growth and expansion of the mining colony menaces the existence of the local tribe.
Jack is taken in by the Na'vi and explores their habitat, culture and language. Natirii, the female Na'vi he meets, helps him through this journey.
Avatars are biological creatures - a combination of alien and human DNA. They are controlled by a human being whose DNA they were made from. The soldier takes control of an avatar that is made from his brother's DNA.
Avatar is an idealistic film demonstrating an ideal world. The ending is particularly poignant. The visual effects are breath-taking. Being a skillful film maker, Cameron has made one of the most thought-out and consistent movies. The film is really worth viewing. |
